Our Community Stakeholders

HOPE Toledo is a 501(c) 3 organization and encompasses HOPE Toledo Pre-K and HOPE Toledo Promise.

The mission of HOPE Toledo is to work with the Toledo community to support and ensure high-quality educational experiences for all of our youth, from preschool to post-secondary and trade school, with the goal of helping to create generational economic change for the betterment of our families and our community.

This cradle-to-career approach will better serve our children and, in the long run, help our city progress towards a stronger, more educated workforce.

HOPE Toledo is Chicks for Charity designated charity (2024-2026). At Chicks for Charity, we CELEBRATE doing something simple and fun with family, friends, or co-workers to raise a few dollars to support under-the-radar charities in northwest Ohio. We provide girls and women of all ages with the inspiration and opportunity to participate in giving back, maximize impact, and experience the JOY and DIGNITY of being philanthropic.

Membership is free. As a member of CFC, once a year, each Chick is asked to commit to doing something fun with family, friends, or co-workers to raise money. Those dollars, whether it’s $11.38 from a Junior Chick’s lemonade stand or $2500 from a well-planned neighborhood basketball tournament, will be awarded to HOPE Toledo (2024-2026).

It’s not about how much you give. It’s the idea that you want to help. And together, when we combine our efforts, we can create change and make our community better.
